Our Story

Founded in Melbourne in 2021, Victorian Strata Co. (VSC) is a growing Strata Management Company specialising in the expert administration and management of small, medium and high density strata schemes in Victoria.

The purpose of Victorian Strata Co. is to create positive environments with simplicity and transparency in management for owners within Victorian Strata Communities, while generating rewarding employment opportunities.

Victorian Strata Co. is led by Certified Practicing Strata Manager, Romy Caddy.

Utilising her years of experience in Strata Management, Service Delivery as well as her experience in Team Management and Mentoring roles, Romy enjoys and excels in understanding the unique and varying requirements of each owner client and delivering on client expectations through the care of building assets and proactive community and committee engagement.

Having completed numerous cladding rectification and compliance projects, as well as fire safety upgrades and capital upgrade projects, the VSC team is well versed in dealing with a wide range of judicial authorities. We encourage owner clients in the importance of active engagement with contractors and consultants to share knowledge, establish trust and ensure owner clients have key input, and are kept informed through every single step of a building project.

Victorian Strata Co. takes pride in building strong partnerships with and between owners, builders, developers, maintenance service providers, and consultants, to ensure valued and satisfactory outcomes are achieved for all parties through collaborative efforts.

Investing in our Community & Future

The success of our communities is our purpose and at the fundamental core of everything we do.

VSC takes pride in awarding an annual community initiative package of up to $5,000.00 with applications open to all Owners Corporations under a current contract of management with VSC. The initiative package is offered each year in the spirit of giving back to the communities that we are dedicated to supporting.  Applications are researched, prepared, and submitted by the elected committee on behalf of the Owners Corporation and assessed on the positive impact, and proactive contribution the proposed activities are intended to have within the local community and/or environment.

Initiative packages may extend to the provision of services to the building community, the local precinct community, environmental initiatives, community infrastructure projects, education and care initiatives etc.

The initiative package applications open on 1st July and close on 30th September each year with advanced invitations for applications being provided to all committee chairpersons and secretaries.

The applications received are reviewed by a panel of three independent trade contractors who assess each application and vote on the initiative / project that will have the most impact in the local community. Successful applicants are contacted in writing and an editorial is included in the VSC annual client newsletter promoting the project and the Owners Corporations initiative.
